    Thank you. John Brain was obviously a very committed farmer. With the exception of his daughter dying from a snake bite at the age of seventeen, his family all lived long and apparently healthy lives.

      Thanks Sandy. Would you be prepared to write just a paragraph or so about your favourite Annie story and post it on the blog? If you do I will post a very short story about her as well. I am sure a lot of other members of the family will have their own Annie story as well. At the moment I am working on a research essay about Malachi and Louisa’s time in South Australia. I hope to have it posted before the New Year.
